Really hoping Mama Followill survived the evening.

How Dapper do these boys look! I absolutely love Caleb’s suit. They definitely win for most handsome group. Loving Matthew’s hair too.

Wondering what the hell the doc is pointing at. Was that a Subliminal Grammy Count off, or some kind of secret message to his beloved Sooners…I wanna KNOW!

How to Help Haiti

My good friend John Arnold contributed to the Haiti Relief efforts by flying to Haiti with a plane full of supplies (he actually made several trips)without any kind of plan, he just did it. This is no surprise that John would do something like this he is truly the kindest person I know. Here is a video of his journey and some suggestions on how you can help.

His words:
If you'd like to help in Haiti directly - today - I'll share one way to do it. I apologize for a mass email (not my style) and am not one to ask people for things (again not my style). I have had people ask how they can help and after last week I know of a very good way and simply feel I need to do this.
Thanks for understanding.

Last week I decided to fly right into Jacmel, Haiti with 1,300lbs. of water, baby formula, rice, and soy milk. When I arrived in Haiti I found a pathway for aid that goes directly to feeding and caring for people (see the video link of my trip). Immediately. This is not a big bureaucratic int'l organization - which frankly, is the beauty of it. These missionaries have dropped what they were doing and have put together their own supply network that is getting aid directly and immediately to the people that need it. If you give today, you'll feed someone tomorrow or the next day. Also, there is zero overhead. Transportation is donated. It's the missionaries themselves, directly getting the supplies in the Dominican Republic and transporting them to Jacmel, Haiti, where they distribute daily what they bring in. Whatever contribution you make here is a "main line" injection of aid directly to someone that needs it - pronto. It won't get stuck in some warehouse somewhere or get eaten up in overhead. There is no overhead. The news is filled with stories of aid piling up and not getting out - not so here. This is working, I saw it with my own eyes and flew flights myselfe had no big plan to get there when we started other than a contact in Fort Lauderdale who would supply us. Each step led to the next, we made it up as we went along, and received help every step of the way.

The video is at http://www.vimeo.com/8917700

If you'd like to donate and help these fine people:

1. G.O. Ministries - G.O. Ministries is the gatherer and the conduit into
Jacmel.

http://www.go-ministries.org/give.shtml

I talked to Ken George and under "Programs" if you select Haiti Relief Fund - it goes right to him. You can also put Ken George in "Recipients". They are running out of money very fast. Can use credit card or PayPal.

2. Joy In Hope Ministries - a teenage orphanage in Jacmel which is now distributing aid (from G.O. Ministries) to the people in Jacmel

http://www.joyinhope.org/earthquake/index.html

Under "Reason" direct it to - Pye Family - it's towards the bottom. Can use
credit card or PayPal. Danny Pye and their teenage orphans unloaded our plane in the video.

3. How Can They Hear (orphanage) - also distributing aid in Jacmel - Maria
Whittaker is the woman in the video that we flew back to Jacmel after she had brought her own very young children out, to better care for others in Jacmel.

Send check to :
Global Outreach International
P. O. Box 1
Tupelo, MS 38802

Please put "3015 Whittakers Earthquake Relief Fund" on the memo line of the
check.

Once again, sorry to blast this out & thanks for understanding. All week we've been hearing how aid is not getting anywhere. This morning I thought, I know at least one way to get it done - NOW. I thought it proper to share in case you're looking for a way to do just that. Thanks for understanding.

On behalf of these organizations and the people they are helping......

Thank you!!!

John Arnold

Body Language Continues…

…Jared at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

When a man finds a woman attractive he will subconsciously open his legs wide when sitting across from her. Apparently Jared doesn’t even need them to be in the room yet.

(I’ve decided, no more gay jokes about the boy, but the wig jokes STAY!)

Body Talk and Listen…

Since there has been lots of discussions on the body language in pictures found on Twitter and some of the forums, I thought I’d give my unprofessional opinion on body language and what it tells us. Although I am not a professional in this particular area I do consider myself an expert on all topics.

….and here we go.

Bad Body Language

Our Subjects: Guy Ritchie and Madonna

Evidence 1

Madonna: Gritted teeth, attempted brow furrow (may be altered by botox).
Guy: Flared nostrils and it looks like his head is starting to turn red!

What she may be saying:
“Guy, I don’t find refering to me as the ‘old ball thats 16 years older then the chain’ very funny!”

Evidence 2

Oh, how we forget when we are never out of the spot light we are never out of the woods. The Cougar wink when the Hubs is not looking, cubs beware she’s lining up the next Mr. Madonna round 3. Only requirements they are not quite able to grow facial hair yet.

Evidence 3

The Elbow Hold

Guy:He’s trying to “direct her” he’s not ready to end this. He wants her to go his way.
Plz Guy, who didn’t know that wasn’t gonna work goin in.

aannnddd we’re divorced. Madonna is now dating a 20 year old Latino boy named Jesus with no facial or body hair.

Good Body Language

Subjects: Caleb Followill and Lily Aldridge

From what I understand this was some kind of party for Lily’s industry so basically it was her night after the MTV Awards.

Caleb: All eyes are on her, especially his-respects the fact this is her gig and his full attention shows he’s proud of her as well.

Lily: Leaning into him, she trusts his support, face tilted up towards him she’s open and again trusts him. Showing her teeth means she’s truly happy. Take NOTE: when you meet a man or woman and they show their teeth when smiling at you it means they are interested in you. Natural reaction for a REAL smile.  Hugging at the waist, this is were all the vital organs are and where reproduction occurs, torso’s touching. They are connected at their life force; heart and yes, there too!

Evidence

When people mirror each others facial expressions it means they are in sync.
There are lots of pics of these 2 walking around and they seem to always be at the same pace and holding hands again they are in sync. It also appears in those pics that his hand is always over hers which means he takes the lead.

They are turned towards each other, as they are in most of their pictures which means they are connected.

interlocking fingers is a sign of confidence, he’s secure and confident in this relationship. interlocking hand-holding means the same and a tight unit (think of the dove tail lock).

Evidence

This picture seems a bit posed but my favorite part is how he has his hand over his heart. Sorry ladies, it’s taken. Also they are a bit intertwined but manage to still hold hands. Unbreakable unit. I find it interesting that this is his MySpace page pic. “You can come in Ladies but don’t expect to get much.”

Evidence

Again the Hand over Heart- This time Lily is protecting his heart. “It’s mine ladies, this is where i live” and Calebs toothy smiles says he’s fine with it. Also their hands in front of them are both pointing towards the other person, always connected, or always a unit.

Evidence

The Head Touchers- Couples that touch heads a lot (and these 2 do) means they are a couple that have chosen the same path in life, they are of one mind and agree on the same goals for themselves and their future. The way Nathan holds Jessie may say he wants all her attention. Holding her at the shoulder pullng her towards him, this boy can’t get enough of her. He’s very protective of her. A good southern gent.

And that is my analysis of body language. I am an observer and a people watcher. I love figuring out the clues in most everything. I could sit in a cafe for hours just watching people, but i don’t cuz I’d be labeled the creepy lady who sits at the cafe staring at people all day.
