In September of this year Vetiver and the Fruit Bats are declaring to the world (or many parts of North America) what may very well be a profound affection for one another by touring together! Both bands have fantastic new records:
Vetiver’s The Errant Charm was released on June 14th of this year and
the Fruit Bats Tripper will be out on August 2nd.

WASHED OUT // Influences Mix (BBC Radio 6 Mix Series)
Ernest Greene of Washed Out put together a couple of mixes for the BBC Radio 6 Mix Series. One geared toward his influences and the other geared more toward music that he’s been listening to as of late. I really dig the influences mix as a lot of those songs are old favorites of mine as well. Song selections include DJ Shadow, 10cc, Boards of Canada, Bruce Hirdler and many more. Definitely worth a listen.
