i love art journals. i have a million filled to the brim made up of doodles, collages, quotes, found objects, lists, letters but to me they are all little moments of my imagination i caught in time.
I’m working on one now that isn’t as random but i’m taking all the above elements and putting them into a specific shape. The shape i’m using is a circle. I’ve done watercolors collages, stories, doodles all inside a circle. It really tests your imagination…thinking “outside of the box”. I’m loving it! Not to show my overacheiverness but I also made the book. It’s a leather bound book with water color paper. I also use composition books for journals too.
