IAHemingway is at its most popular period with an average of over 5000 hits a month (then again that’s only for Jan and feb so far). Just this month it’s already close to 1000 hits and it’s only March 2nd! It’s the random days where I get crazy hit’s like last September when I received over 24,000 hits in one day that brought my blog to over 200,000 page views in 2010. Even with all the changes I made last year, the blog just keeps growing and growing. It has brought a lot of opportunities for me and I’ve established some good relationships with people in the industry because of it and most importantly I’m enjoying every minute of it.
I think that’s pretty impressive since it has gained its popularity mostly by my readers sharing posts not to mention it’s just a personal site not affiliated with any product or service, it’s free and you will never see advertisements on here.
So why fix it if it ain’t broke? I’m not! Just adding and starting some old stuff up again. When I came across this cool new theme WordPress created I thought I’d give it a go! Tell me what you think?
I want to bring more variety while still sticking to the same topics. Get back to some writing. Concert reviews, opinion pieces stuff like that.
Tell me what you’d like to see here. All suggestions are welcome and encouraged. What do you want to see more of? Less of? Things that should make a comeback? I’m most proud of the fact I have a very high return visitor count and I’d like to know what it is that keeps bringing you back. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section.
