Reflecting back on the first concert I ever went to. Peter Frampton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, J Geils band and Dickey Betts. June of 1977. I was 11. That was a lot of pot smoke floating around for an 11 yeat old. Not too shabby for a first concert. Four months later, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s plane crashed and we lost Ronnie Vanzant, Steve Gaines, and Kathy Gaines.

“The documentary The Wolfpack goes inside the lives of six brothers – Bhagavan, Govinda, Narayana, Mukunda, Krisna (now Glenn) and Jagadesh (now Eddie) – who allegedly grew up locked in a New York City apartment, rarely visiting the outside world.

According to the film, their father, Oscar, was the only one who had a key and would only allow the children to leave a few times a year at most.”

These six boys are very intelligent, creative and unique individuals. Makes you question if it really was such a bad thing. I guess only time will tell.

Iris

I’m starting a new category on my site. “Worth Watching” will include documentaries, movies, video’s and TV series that are binge-watching worthy.

My first recommendation is the documentary “Iris’. She’s a 93-year-old beloved fashion icon living and working in NYC. Yes, 93 and she is fabulous! A must watch for all the fashion lovers out there. You can find “Iris” on Netflix.
