Papercuts have announced additional tour dates beginning on March 12thin San Diego and ending on April 9thin their hometown of San Francisco. The band will also be playing a handful of dates this month with fellow label-mates and friends, Beach House. See below for a full list of shows.

The release of the twelve-track album will coincide with the band’s first North American tour dates since August 2009 followed by a string of UK and European dates.  The tour will begin in Vancouver on April 30th and end in London England.

Helplessness Blues was recorded over the course of a year at Avast Recording, Bear Creek Studios, Dreamland Studios, and Reciprocal Recording.

What: “Young Oldies”, a mixture of 50s teenage rock ‘n’ roll, 60s girl groups and bubblegum pop.
Hunx and his Punx is the first ever “girl group” fronted by a flamboyant gay male whose dream in life is to sound like a girl.
