God, this is Gorgeous!
meet you can’t win, charlie brown, a six piece from portugal. they released their full length debut in may called chromatic>. the band recently hit my radar after i noticed they were listed as one of the bands performing this year at sxsw and i was attracted by their name. after watching their video for “over the sun, under the water” (check it below) i dashed out (or actually, over) and bought their album. there’s an urgency of harmonics, melody and wonderful sense of electro-folk rock arrangement to their songs that remind me of local natives, dry the river, even frightened rabbit. stream their album below.
