I love this interview, but I’d really like to know what the heck was really in Matt’s water bottle. Seriously. 🙂
It was like he was distracted by the shininess of his own ring and just had to let everyone else know about the awesomeness he carried around on his pinkie.
Interviewer: “Are you already working on the next album?”
Jared: “We’ve messed around with some new stuff in sound-”
Matt: “Can you see this ring? Last week, I was in Peru feeding orphaned polar bears with Betty White and George Clinton, when this herd of wild unicorns came out of nowhere and started fighting the baby bears! [brief pause to arrange elegantly disheveled hair] Thank God I had this magical ring on, or the bears would have been slaughtered. In the end, there was glitter and unicorn dust everywhere, but we saved the bears, damnit.”
I watched the interview a few days ago, so I tried to recall the interview from memory. I *might have* been mistaken on a few of the details of the ring story. It’s also possible the acid was in MY water bottle. 😉

Matthew is behaving like he’s a 10 year old with ADD during this interview. *smile*
